Bible study guides

My apologies if this has been asked before. What is the best Catholic Bible Study guide to use? I am looking for something that digs into the verses. Kind of like expository guides our non-Catholic Christian brothers and sisters would use.

I’m really enjoying my Douai Rheims Bible with Father Haydock’s notes–they are far more complete than many study guides, and present nothing but Catholic truth. The only objection is the price, but a CAF member posted a site a while back that had the Bible for quite a bit less than the $125 it sells for on most sites, and it is a beautiful book. 👍

I don’t remember where I got it right off the top of my head, but if anyone wants to know, I’ll do a little research and find the site…
 
I’m a big fan of the Navarre Bible. The first 10 words in Genesis garner a full page worth of commentary. The rest of the books are similar. I couldn’t read through the OT without getting lost before I acquired this set of books.

The Navarre Bible is Catholic.

The Haydock Bible is also online here. The New Testament is complete, and at this time the Old Testament is 78% done.
