What are nice Biblical or Saint names for a Girl? Classic names preferred over “Trendy” ones.

I really like Isabelle which is a variant of “Elizabeth” so yes, I’m open to “variants” of a name.

Thanks!

Esther, Judith, Eve, Ruth, Rachel, Jael, Julia, Leah, Lydia, Naomi, Phoebe, Salome, Susannah, and of course Miriam 🙂 Thérèse, I second Faustina because I love her, Edith, Catherine, Agnes, Gabrielle, Cecilia, Felicity

Rachel means sheep, Hanna means merciful, Joanna means gift of the Lord.

Mary Theresa has a nice “ring to it” That is my name, Mary after the obvious and Theresa after Theresa of Avila. Best of both, LOL!~ It’s a pretty name and I was called “Mary Theresa” both names until until junior high.

well St Lucy is a martyr

i’ve prayed to her & She’s helped me in many ways

i don’t know much about the name “Lucille”

I think it is a kind of variant of Lucy. It has a nice sound to it.

I love the name Marie. It is my middle name. When I was little, I used to hate it because it usually meant I was in trouble!

Tziporah (wife of Moses). Or the newer Greek form Sephora. But then again people will just presume she is the heiress of the brand… But it’s still a beautiful name. It means “beautiful bird”.

IMO, it reminds me of an old lady…But to each their own and all that
