is it just me ,or does it seem that when ever we give biblical evidance of something for fundamentals they say that it does mean that or its symbolic. example : eucharist, baptism, authority? what do you think.
It has always been curious to me that many of those who insist on a literal interpretation of the Bible often will say that “This is my body” should not be literally interpreted.is it just me ,or does it seem that when ever we give biblical evidance of something for fundamentals they say that it does mean that or its symbolic. example : eucharist, baptism, authority? what do you think.
In fundamentalist land everyone but catholics and the pope are popes. They forget that the Church is the pillar and foundation of Truth not the operator’s manual.(Or rather PART of the operator’s manual)is it just me ,or does it seem that when ever we give biblical evidance of something for fundamentals they say that it does mean that or its symbolic. example : eucharist, baptism, authority? what do you think.
I agree with you. Regardless of topic, theology or issue, when it supports the Catholic position it is not to be taken literally. But when it is juxta-positioned by the Catholic position then it IS to be taken literally and we are wrong!is it just me ,or does it seem that when ever we give biblical evidance of something for fundamentals they say that it does mean that or its symbolic. example : eucharist, baptism, authority? what do you think.
