Hi there. So recently, I watched a few episodes of Biblical Mysteries Explained - yourdiscovery.com/web/shows/biblical-mysteries-explained/
And it brought up some questions:
-Do you believe that science and religion go hand in hand? They proved that the first 6 stages of the 10 plagues could go hand in hand with each other…the water turning red is a natural phenomenon which would lead to frogs leaving the ocean, etc. They even had explanations for the first borns dying.
-They mentioned how asteroids were the reason Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed…so wouldn’t that mean Lot and his family would have been killed, too? It said everyone in the area would have had to have been killed.
I watched one show on this same channel called the Lost Gospels, and it talked about the gospel of Thomas, Peter, Mary Magdalene, and even Judas. But, they ended up being forged and not actually by them. But they were talking about how the 4 gospels we have now were almost definitely NOT written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. What would this mean for the Christian religion?
Thank you for your (name removed by moderator)ut! I’m excited to see what people have to say on these matters.
