What is the main cause of poverty from the Biblical sense?.. Is there a verse in the Bible pointing out the main cause of poverty?.. what do you think is the main cause of poverty today?

for biblical verses, I would go to any of Jesus’ teachings about proper regard for material things
sell all you have, give it to the poor and come follow me
if someone asks for your cloak, give him your coat as well
if you failed to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick, you failed to do this for Me.
