The people alive during the days of Isaiah were told to expect the suffering Messiah. They refused to believe it. It was too fantastic to believe.

They were told many of things that would come to be with Christ. Did they listen? no.

Just like today.

The rapture is biblical, now it just a matter of when is it going to happen. Pre trib, mid trib, Post Trib. I would love for it to be pre. I am betting on it being Post. That is why we are told to stay the course till the end.

I’m curious why you belittle a belief by calling it a fairytale.?.? Then you continue your belittling by calling it aberant pseudo teaching.

There is only One Second Coming of Jesus. That is when He literally and Bodily touches down on earth for the Last Battle of Revelation.

The rapture is not a true coming in that Jesus doesn’t touch down on earth. Those ‘caught up’ or ‘raptured’ will meet Jesus in the sky - specifically clouds.
I called a pre-tribulation rapture a fairy tale because that is exactly what it is.
**It has NO sound Scriptural basis. **
It is nothing but an aberrant psuedo-Christian teaching. It wasn’t even believed by any Protestant sect before Darby.

Prove me wrong - ummm, with Scripture.

It make be or not be in the Bible but God did Rapture three Biblical persons - Enoch, Ezekial and Jesus so there is precedent.

Matthew 24:36-44 (New International Version © 2010)
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but only the Father. 37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.** 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.** 42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Its clear though by these passages in bold that the Rapture is not a limited event using current numbers over 3.4 billion people will be raptured since its two people noted twice and one was raptured or 50%. Jesus was simple in teachings if He meant limited He would have worded it in a clear way like out of a town one will be taken etc. He clearly wanted us to know that God is not just going to Rapture Christians but children too innocent to be culpable, righteous of other faiths and likely those God finds willing to spare even possibly those without faith.

And may I ask, who was taken away in the days of Noah? The evil or good?

And outside the bible: Mary. Wait a minute, who is the woman in Revelation?

I think that’s a good foot-in-the-door when dealing with rapturists.🙂

Jesus wasn’t “raptured” - he ascended by his own power.
The others were “Assumed” by the power of God.

My rapture will either be when my soul is released from my body, or when jesus returns but once more. Not to cherry pick verses, but here goes. " The Lord said to my Lord, sit at my right hand until I make your enemies my footstool " If Jesus comes back, it will be after his enemies become the footstool i.e. after the antichrist ( jesus’ final adversary ) is defeated. In order for jesus to meet believers in the air, at any time other than his second coming, the right hand of the lord( at his throne) would have to be in the air. Since God’s throne is outside the universe ( Genesis 1 ) it can’t be in the air. Thus, the rapture by Jesus will happen at the end of time, and the final battle defeating the antichrist. This is known as the second coming. If the rapture is pre-trib, then the tribulation would happen after the defeat of antichrist. I doubt the antichrist, who will be the cause of the great tribulation, would be able to cause it while in the lake of fire. The logical conclusion of a pre-tribulation rapture would cause an irreconcilable contradiction in the bible. Since all of the bible is true, there can be no contradiction, except ‘apparent,’ but false, contradictions. Thus, the pre-trib rapture violates the truth of the bible, and as such must be dismissed as ’ a fairy tale "
