Biblical view on curses

What does the bible say about curses? the reason why I’m asking this is because, curses are mentioned often throughout the bible:
Jesus curses the fig tree.
God curses Cain.
Elisha curses Naaman and says it will cling to his descendants forever.
God stopped Balaam from cursing the Isrealites.
There is probably more examples but these are the only ones coming to mind…

Yes. I know I’ve had plenty of pagan acquaintances on the internet at various points in time, and they’ve spoken very freely about cursing people-- and the results they got. It was very real to them, and it certainly aligns with my own understandings/experiences of reality on my side of things.

How to End Intergenerational Curses Traditional Catholicism
Say one has an ancestor who was a psychic and may have had some rather evil things going on, and long story short it seems there may be an intergenerational curse or something of the sort on his descendents. What to do?
