Biden and the US bishops: Compromise crafted by 'Uncle Ted' McCarrick still in place

Sadly - this McCarrick compromise is - well - compromised, it also is a cause of confusion among the faithful and results in public scandal.
We wonder why people leave the faith - this is why.
If you - the Church especially - does not stand for truth - what do you stand for? Nothing…
And if the Church cannot stand up to the powerful and public personages in such a fundamental aspect of the faith - why should the Church deny the average Catholic their sacramental life?
Why deny the Eucharist to the divorced and remarried? Those in same sex marriages? Unmarried couples?
Why deny the Eucharist for any area of disagreement with one’s opinion on matters of faith - opinion seems to have taken the place of a “well formed conscience” - I learned that from those “faithful devout Catholics” Pelosi, Biden, Kerry et al - who are bolstered in their practice of Catholicism and supported by their Bishops and the Pope …
Thus All is good … Yeah!
but… I am not sure why my heart is not as joyful and at peace in that lesson
