Biden's Catholic faith as churchgoing president

Trump is quite irrelevant to the real issue: heterodox Catholic Joe Biden being portrayed as a good Catholic. It is scandalous (in the Catholic sense).
 
The article says he married his first wife in a Catholic Church. What about his marriage to Jill? IIRC, she’s divorced?

(CNN)Joe Biden rarely misses Sunday Mass. So it was notable when the President-elect didn’t attend church on November 29, the first Sunday of Advent and the beginning of the season when Roman Catholics like Biden prepare for Christmas.

Biden’s absence was understandable, since just a day earlier he had broken his foot. But the following weekend, Biden was back at his home parish in Wilmington, Delaware – St. Joseph on the Brandywine – for Saturday’s vigil Mass. He was there again on Tuesday on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, a holy day of obligation.

That’s a level of devotion to regular religious services not seen from recent presidents, who were professed Christians but intermittently attended church or worshipped privately while in office. Donald Trump has not had a habit of attending church services weekly, though he made several appearances at the Episcopal church in West Palm Beach near his resort as well as at various evangelical churches across the country.

Thread is about Biden’s Catholic faith…the only reason to post about anything else is to deflect about the fact he causes scandal.

So exactly how does Trump cause Biden to support policies contradictory to his Catholic faith? Does Trump not attending Catholic Mass cause Biden to want to go after the Little Sisters of the Poor?

Does Biden attending Mass make up for his evil policies (“evil” as used by the Catholic Church to describe abortion…which Biden’s policies support)?

They were married by a Catholic priest in the Chapel at the United Nations, so technically that wedding was not in a Catholic church.

In addition, Jill was a Presbyterian and has never said publicly whether she ever converted to Catholicism.

Presumably if a Catholic priest married them, she was free to marry.
