I am here to learn!

I hope and pray that you forgive me of my ignorance.

How long was the point of energy existing before it exploded?

THANKS!

If one has the time and energy, how can a photon exists for 14,000,000,000 years?

Furthermore, how can it travel all that space and still not deteriorate? The distance is incomprehensible.

From where did that energy come, according to the scientists? (Is there an infallible magisterium for this teaching?)

I have asked, I think, these or really similar questions, but I cannot locate the answers quickly.

Why do some scientists think the universe is only 15,000,000,000 years old?

I will not bug you again, I just have to hear the answers one more time, then I will drop the subject!

To the person who answers the questions, to what degree is it belief or science for you?

Thank you, thank you, a million thank yous!!!

Hello :),

I think you have answered your own question already 😉 You have done the proper research about the subject and you are looking for an answer that you may not be ready to accept, “the chicken or the egg” in either case comes back to be the same, we are here and depending on how strong your believes are, you will trash one idea or the other 🙂

Let’s put it in this way, if someone had the right answer, the question will not be formulated after many centuries. If you think about it, how did the universe get created? an explosion? ok, how this enormous energy got there? We are part of that explosion and the divine being that made that possible 😉

Hope you get my idea.

:thumbsup:Very well put–I always say,"Yeah, there was a big bang and you know what else,Our precious Lord made it."Making things and being creative always makes noise!!! I am a mother of 3 and I know:blush:–lol–Blessings to all!!

Francis Collins is a good man to listen to on such topics.
A former doctor, turned scientist and the best in his field.
He was so good, the USA govt elected him as the head of the Genome project.
He grew up in an athiest family, but found God.
He said after completing the Genome project, which put him closer to creation than any other human, ever, “something so beautiful, complex, intelligent and perfect could not have happened as a result of an accident of nature.”

He is worth a google and there are many videos on Youtube where he tackles this subject.

Wasn’t it a Catholic priest who originally came up with the Big Bang Theory? I thought I heard that somewhere…

The Belgian Georges Henri Lemaitre (Catholic priest) placed the basis and then Fred H. as a sarcastic joke named it in this way the Big Bang Theory…

There is a very thin line between our universe and total nothingness.
