We have some big feastdays coming up in early October: Big days in that the saints and angels involved are very important to many Catholics. I’m not in time for a novena to St. Therese nor The Guardian Angels…but one could begin one to St. Francis on the 26th. September and St. Faustina on 27th. September.

2nd. October The Guardian Angels
4th. October St. Francis of Assisi
5th. October St. Faustina
St. Teresa of Avila is on the 15th. October. Aliturgical calendar for October can be located on:

A perhaps lesser known custom in The Church is the tridium (three days prayer and probably most connected to the Holy Week Tridium, although there are others)which is the three days before a feast. I am in time for a tridium for the above feasts:

The form of prayer or devotion depends upon the occasion or purpose of the triduum. The three days usually precede some feast, and the feast then determines the choice of the pious execises.
