I was wondering if a saint lived in a cold climate and he/she biolacated to a warm climate would they be wearing different clothes?

That’s a borderline, “Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy” kind of question. There’s no possible way to answer that; however, I do know that I have enough trouble dressing myself each day without having to worry about if I’m going to be in fashion two places at the same time. It’s one of the lessor reasons I’m not a saint, yet. 🙂

is being borderline Jack Handy bad?

I’m just relly curious:shrug:

I also want to know why the purple bristles on your toothbrush and they stay purple even with whitiening toothpaste if bone is the hardest substance know to man.

It drives my mom crazy when I ask questions:cool:

I have no idea.

But when you find someone who knows the answer, can you please ask him whether or not there will be any armpit hair in heaven. 😉

I think if a person is that close to God that they can bi-locate, they wouldn’t be concerned with the heat or cold. Suffering would already be a part of their life.

I do know Padre Pio bi-located to the air to tell a bomber pilot not to bomb his village. Years later the pilot recognized him when he visited the village. So, I assume he recognized Padre Pio by his clothes.

However, my wife said something like the saint would have a force field around them so they wouldn’t feel the temperature. :doh2: But, I don’t think this squares with Catholic teachings.

I’ve been thinking about bi-location lately. I wonder if the body that is in the second location is another earthly body or if it is their perfected body in heaven. Afterall, if eternity is out of time, our bodies are already in heaven in eternity right now. If that is the case, I don’t think that a saint’s perfected body would be bothered by the effects of hot or cold.

Reading back over this I am not sure that I am even able to communicate what I have in mind. It’s just that I’ve been reflecting on how we can have these moments of the “eternal now” every once in a while since the past, present, and future exist in eternity all at once.
