Biopsy after mammogram

After a routine breast screening I had to go in for further tests. Something irregular was detected on the ultrsound and a biopsy was taken. I have to wait at least two weeks for the results. As I suffer from anxiety already, and my husband and I are already struggling through uncertain times, this is extremely stressful. Please pray that God willing, the diagnosis isn’t bad, and to help us through these times.

I found saying the ‘Flying Novena’ during a stressful time very helpful. That is 9 Memorares plus one for thanksgiving for answers received. (I know it sounds hokey to those who don’t understand we people of Novenas and Saints. But, in a moment of intense anxiety, the occupation of my mind and spirit upon the Blessed Mother and her loving prayers for us actually helps!)

It doesn’t sound hokey at all, egretps. I’ll certainly try the Flying Novena, in the hopes it will help my circumstances and at least relieve the anxiety. Thanks and God bless.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Procla), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you.
