Look out parents. My daughter went to see Twilight. The theatre was packed with tweens and above. A commercial was played advertising birth control and where to go to get it.
I’m guessing adverstising plan. It’s perfect, a room full of teenage girls and their boyfriends. I’m sure the boys picked up on it too and they probably talked about it after the movie. If not, it could at least put the thought in their heads. I’d write your theater and tell them how you feel about it and then let your friends with teenage daughters know about it too. Find out if it is being played in all of their theaters too.Advertisers go with the demographics. Twilight is for young women, both over- and under-age. Either they don’t care about exposing the underage kids to this, or it’s part of their advertising plan.
