Look out parents. My daughter went to see Twilight. The theatre was packed with tweens and above. A commercial was played advertising birth control and where to go to get it.

You may vote with your pocketbook, by declining to further patronize the Regal theaters.

Be sure to send a letter to Regal, explaining your decision and reasoning.

Must have moved way down in the threads when you first posted as this is the first I saw it. I agree with how awful that is. Do you think it is because it is the movie Twilight?

Advertisers go with the demographics. Twilight is for young women, both over- and under-age. Either they don’t care about exposing the underage kids to this, or it’s part of their advertising plan.

I’m guessing adverstising plan. It’s perfect, a room full of teenage girls and their boyfriends. I’m sure the boys picked up on it too and they probably talked about it after the movie. If not, it could at least put the thought in their heads. I’d write your theater and tell them how you feel about it and then let your friends with teenage daughters know about it too. Find out if it is being played in all of their theaters too.
