Providence, RI (LifeNews.com) – Rhode Island Bishop Thoms Tobin is earning prise from pro-life advocates for removing his hospital from membership in the Catholic Health Association because of CHA’s active support for the pro-abortion health care bill. Bishop Tobin also expressed hope that the CHA “will review its mission and will find new opportunities to renew its commitment to human life, including that of unborn children.”

What good is the Catholic Hospital Association if, as Bishop Tobin clearly sates;

"Your enthusiastic support of the legislation, in contradiction to the position of the Bishops of the United States, provided an excuse for members of Congress, misled the public, and caused serious scandal for many members of the Church."???

Perhaps these organizations that choose to disregard Catholic teaching need to remove the misleading word Catholic from their titles & just become the "Christian Hospital Association!, or even better, the PCHA; Previously Catholic but now Cafeteria Catholic Hosp. Assoc."

Just another group of sad, watered down Catholics that has been corrupted by the secular world & USED AS PAWNS TO PROMOTE ABORTION in their quest for prestige & profit!!!

Don’t give me the “greater good” argument! Jesus didn’t compromise His values or His Honor & was Crucified by those He came to save!
