That’s what comes of allowing Gentiles into the Church 🙂​

Given our own frailties, we are hardly in a position to sling rocks at anyone.

And why does the C of E only ever warrant a mention here when there is something to gawp with horror at ? ##

Point well taken. I apologize for having caused offence and I realize we really don’t have bragging rights, we are all sinners. I was just so amazed I had to share this bit, I guess this is a form of backbiting internet style. I should know better.

Maybe you misunderstand my intention. I am not saying that the CofE should be standing at the church doors barring homosexuals from worship. What I am saying is that they have a woeful disreguard of sexual immorality when it comes to the ordination of priests. When the CofE allows people who are openly practicing gravely immoral sin it is a disgrace to Christ’s name and weakens traditional concepts of morality. This step to ordain a transsexual is just one further step down the slippery slope they have been travelling.
