I keep praying that our Archbishop will follow suit but its not likely. He is retiring as soon as the Holy Father assigns a new Abp. Perhaps, God willing, the replacement will be more traditionally oriented.
 
There is indeed a New Liturgical Movement in the Church. This is another example.

I’m new to the “traditional” Catholicism of the Latin rite. I’m loving the TLM. I just went to my first high Mass last Sunday.

I was conscious of the resistance to traditions of the Catholic church. It’s a whole different experience for me when it manifests itself in print in this editorial in the NCR.

The things people say in comments against the Bishops decision is also amusing.

I pray for this Bishop and for all Catholic priests.

Takes courage to stand for what it right. Indeed, this Bishop is a good one.
