I just noticed this piece from wdtprs.com. I didn’t see that anyone had posted it yet. So here it is, and I hope that you appreciate it as much as I do.

I keep praying that our Archbishop will follow suit but its not likely. He is retiring as soon as the Holy Father assigns a new Abp. Perhaps, God willing, the replacement will be more traditionally oriented.

I’m glad to hear that such a beautiful high altar is used for its intended purpose again. Holy Family Cathedral is one of Tulsa’s great treasures.

While the new colors (they repainted the inside in 2006) are a bit bold, I don’t think it’s an ugly church. They bring out the white high altar more. The angle this picture was taken doesn’t do the church justice either.

I’m new to the “traditional” Catholicism of the Latin rite. I’m loving the TLM. I just went to my first high Mass last Sunday.

I was conscious of the resistance to traditions of the Catholic church. It’s a whole different experience for me when it manifests itself in print in this editorial in the NCR.

The things people say in comments against the Bishops decision is also amusing.

I pray for this Bishop and for all Catholic priests.
