Let me be very clear that I accept Pope Francis as the lawful pontiff.

Are we to regard this bishop, mutatis mutandis, as we would have regarded Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre 45 years ago?

Bishop Schneider is a very wise and faithful Shepherd. Sadly a lot of the Tinfoil hats have already begun spewing venom at him and calling him a “Francis Stooge” based on this article (just look at the comments on this very Lifesite article). They need to grow up and get a life. Any faithful Bishop must show fidelity to the Chair of St Peter, regardless of who is currently occupying it.
