Where does he stand on issues? Is he like Bishop Vigneron?

He has only been an Auxiliary of Detroit for two years. In that time, he headed the sex abuse investigations and earlier this year he banned a certain infamous, dissident nun from speaking at an event in one of the parishes in his Vicariate.
I know he made the official announcement of Detroit’s indult Tridentine Mass (perhaps he even helped convince His Eminence Cardinal Maida to finally allow it) However, he stated that it was not meant for new catechesis but rather for pastoral need.
He celebrated Mass recently at my old parish but I was unable to make it over there for it.
That is about all I know. I am sure there are others from the Detroit area who are more familiar with him.
