Though this reporter favors gender ideology and same-sex marriage, he gives a good look at the courageous stand the Catholic bishops of this Central European country made in their pastoral letter provided December 1, read in all the country’s Catholic churches and broadcast in the media. There they spoke frankly to protect marriage in the traditional sense, which, they warn, might be crippled in Europe.

Slovakia is a country of 5 1/2 million people, formed in 1993 when Czechoslovakia divided into the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic.

Well, the uproar does not surprise me in this current era, but good for the Bishops for standing up and protecting their flock.
