St. Paul said those who recieve the Lord unworthily are guilty of the Body and the Blood of the Lord. In other words they are guilty of our Lords murder. Bishops who hand our Lord over to baby killing politicians are no better than Judas who handed our Lord over to be crucified. Just as in humility Christ allowed Himself to be handed over to the Children of Satin He allows Him Self to be handed over to he children of Satin today. And just as before Satin’s head is crushed as they recieve their own condemnation.

Bishops who intercede between our Lord and the baby killing politicians are asking for God’s Mercy upon the sinner.

I saw this on EWTN. The National Catholic Bioethics Center, Catholic Medical Association, Human Life League & American Life League are all pretty sure the Bishops from the CCC have made a mistake.

Before you shoot me, please remember that the bishops in England all went along with the Acts of Succession that formed the Church of England (with Henry VIII as its Head instead of the Vicar of Christ), and that the neither of the two men we venerate as Saints were Bishops - One, St. John Fisher, was a priest, and the other, St. Thomas More, was a Layman.

Saint John Fisher became Bishop of Rochester in 1504 and served in that position for 31 years.

As I recall, there was a second bishop who refused to go along, but he died of natural causes before Henry could murder him.

If you were to change the title of your thread to Bishops Who Knowingly Allow Baby Killing Politicians To Receive Are Like Judas Iscariot, I could agree with you more fully. But bishops may not recognize by face every politician who represents a district within their dioceses, and just like priests and other Ministers of Holy Communion, must assume that everyone who presents himself for communion is a Catholic entitled and properly disposed to do so. (That is, until all communion lines are policed by special ushers who will require all communicants to prove they are not politicians, or if so to prove by their voting records that they have not facilitated abortion.)

In addition to the policing they should take the time to excommunicate them formally ahead of time this way there is less chance of an error. Either way, knowingly or unknowingly the action and result is the same. I can not judge any Bishop or Eucharistic Minister’s culpability any more then I personally can judge Judas. Culpability is God’s department we should just stick to an evaluation of the action.

The Bishops here are assuming that you can determine if the rape victum is pregnant. If this is true without any doubt you are permitted by Church teaching to prevent pregnancy and contracept. I can’t give reference on it but I heard Dr. Jeanet Smith talk about it once. I guess the way I have inerpreted this exception on contraception is that it is a repelling of all rapist boarders. In other words and in my words a women can fight the rapist or any of his parts all the way up to conception. After conception, the child is not the rapist and their life must be respected. The Bishops need to be sure this ruling is not abused and a child is not killed.

I read it as that the Bishops should interceed and prohibit such politicians from receiving the eucharist.
