bishops

ok so i know that the anglican communion does not have valid orders.
however, one thing i have noticed about their bishops is that they wear a purple clergy shirt, presumably so the public can identify them as bishops. within the catholic church i usually only see bishops in their cassock, or just a black shirt with the pectoral cross. can catholic bishops wear a purple clergy shirt as a mark of their episcopal identity?

i understand this could be put of other sections of the forums, but it’s here because of the refrence to anglicanism

The clergy shirt is supposed to represent the front of a cassock, hence the collar.

Customarily, bishops of Anglican tradition have worn reddish-purple cassocks.

Catholic priests (of the different honours and dignities) may have different coloured piping on their cassocks. Priests have black piping, monsignors and bishops have purple piping, and cardinals have scarlet piping. (and the pope wears the Dominican habit )

As far as I know, that is the extent of the variety of dress for Catholic bishops.
