I recently purchased the latest edition of Black’s Law Dictionary. It is the most thorough legal reference of which I am familiar.
I was surprised to find out that under the word “act” there are several acts defined. I was dissapointed to find out that there was no “act of contrition” defined in their dictionary.
I plan to write them a letter. If you own a copy, please express your dissapointment with them as well.
An Act of Contrition is a “public act” and is evidence that one is exercising his/her first ammendment right to practice.
