Blasphemous "creepy cross" at Target

I find the Target and Walmart Halloween stuff pretty lame and tame.

Here is MY favorite Halloween store:

Lots of cool things there, although this year’s selection is not quite as good as last year’s. Still fun to go to though. We have several in our area.

Nice quality, but a little gruesome for my tastes. I prefer a bloodless, goreless deco. I’m making a cemetary this year with a grim reaper, a reminder of our own mortality. Also, deccing out our porch like an abadonded Victorian parlor

The so called "twisted cross"is apperantly satanic according to some ppl i know. Look at this website:

It’s not Satanic. It is the traditional Papal crucifix. Given that the site you quoted is a fundamentalist Baptist-operated site (their words, not mine), they are prone to find “evil” in everything to do with the Pope and the Catholic Church in general. They also make the claim that he is wearing the robes of Lucifer and that the Catholic faithful are the deceived described in Revelation as worshiping the Beast.

So, I wouldn’t worry about it. It isn’t twisted or creepy or Satanic. It’s very Catholic. If the Holy Father is carrying it, I’m okay with it.

I am not offended by the cross, nor do I think it has anything to do with the Christian symbol. That being said I am tired of all PC that is happening in the US. Should we as humans be aware of people feelings? Yes, but as we run around and find things that are offensive to us, do we not stop to think that some might find what we like offensive. If we strip them of their to right to express their thoughts and symbols whatever they may be, we will slowly lose our right to do the same.

If that’s Satanic, then my church is Satanic, our crucifix is based on that specific corpus since our Pastor admired it so much. It’s about 20 feet tall, though.
