Blasphemous thoughts

I don’t think that there are any who are not tempted in this way, at some time or another.

Our faith is one of supernatural wonder and we are constantly confronted with the supernatural in Scripture.

A suggestion for overcoming this is to read the early church fathers who have such a wonderful faith and trust in God and in his written word.

Our Father who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen. :signofcross:

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen. :signofcross:

Prayers said for relief from blasphemous thoughts.
God bless,

Mary.

I will remember your intentions in my prayers today.

Know that so long as you do not consent to such thoughts you are guilty of no sin. In fact, by resisting wicked thoughts one may grow in virtue and gain great merit. Remember that everything is in the Lord’s hands and trust in Him.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom to overcome your temptations.

You have my prayers.

“Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.”
“I plead with you! Never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid.”
“If He asks much of you, it is because He knows you can give much.”

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility and
Mother of Hope,
look upon pwlj_christ87
in this time of disquiet and weakness.

Still his restless spirit,
teach his searching heart to know
that God’s love for him
is unchanging and that the suffering
which He may will for him now
is to draw pwlj_christ87
closer to Him.

Let thy gentle peace and His —
which the world cannot give —
be always with him, that he may
be sanctified; and then,
I beseech thee that
pwlj_christ87 will have
the grace to bring this
peace to others.

Jesus, My Savior, I give myself
entirely to Thee through Mary:

Our Lady of Mental Peace,
pray for us!
Through Christ Our Lord,
Amen.

*St. Dymphna, pray for us. *

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Philippians 4:8-

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Jesus, I trust in You!

Amen.
