BUT, if God shows the world the incomprehensible horror of what happens with materialistic wonder and complexity when it leaves all religion in the dust, AND, if that were not enough, brings them all back to His Sacred Heart and His Mother’s Immaculate Heart, bringing PEACE and love and UNITY, AND with the materialistic wonder and complexity restored, ONE FAITH, ONE LORD, ONE BAPTISM, and FAITH and SCIENCE RECONCILED, then IF, AFTER ALL THAT, the world spits in God’s face, and says they DON”T NEED RELIGION, and WORSE, that the peace and prosperity of this great age that is coming from Our Lady’s Bosom had NOTHING to do with our Lady, with HER Heart, and the SPIRIT, the DOVE, that animates it, CAN GOD FORGIVE THAT?

APOCALYPTICALLY NO! For the world will be BLASPHEMING the Spirit.

Saying that all along, the only reason there was peace was because of the POWERS of THIS WORLD, that is, that the DRAGON OF STRIFE, was RESTRAINED, or cast OUT of history, by the powers of this world will be saying, that the PRINCE OF THIS WORLD was bound and CAST OUT by the POWERS OF THE PRINCE OF THIS WORLD [science, technology, affluence].

And WHERE have we seen a passage in Scripture where some evil man or men said that the DEVIL was cast out by the POWER OF THE DEVIL? The PHARISEES! And what was their SIN? BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT!

And what did Jesus say regarding this? He said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, all blasphemy and sin shall be forgiven men. And if men blaspheme the Son, it shall be forgiven them. But WHOSOEVER BLASPHEMES the HOLY SPIRIT, shall NEVER BE FORGIVEN, neither in THIS age, or the age to COME!”

This can then give us a meaning to this mysterious “neither in THIS age”. The Catholic Church condemns any belief that someone can commit a sin before death that is unforgivable. The sacraments of Confession and Anointing of the Sick disprove pre-death unforgivable sin. SJPII discussed this: he attributes this sin to final impenitence, hence, making Christ’s words hyperbolic. But the mystery persists: why WOULD Jesus say, “in THIS age [will not be forgiven]…”?

The Apocalyptic theology above enables the solution: no INDIVIDUAL human being will ever be unforgivable (Jesus will ALWAYS take you back, right till the millionth of a second before your demise), but CORPORATELY, HUMANITY will be UNFORGIVABLE at the end of the world, an unforgivable APOCALYPTIC sin; for what can we say? With all that God will have done for humanity: give them an apocalyptic learning lesson, and then give them peace, the ultimate true fruits of His kingdom–love, unity, peace, joy, solidarity in suffering, meaning of life and history—if they deny the supreme lesson they learned, the ultimate historical horror until its times—and then deny the source of peace, what more can be done? If they will not love God after all that, WHAT will enable them to love God?

I think one important point of the OP is that, just as the pharisees, many people in society are saying there is no supernatural evil thanks to human scientific progress (a positivistic and materialistic stance) and not thanks to the Holy Spirit. That’s what he/she equals to blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Interesting view.

I will write more later but no. I am not saying that we are in the age of the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. We are rather in the blasphemy against the son because the world is saying that because the Disciples of the son have made a mess and Scandal and division of the Gospel that they reject the gospel and so this is a rejection of the son not the spirit. But coming up our lady will bring peace after the chastisement and the world will live as one in the Catholic Gospel . then when the world Falls away again they will have no excuse and that will be the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit

The Church clearly teaches what blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is and you seem to be way off the mark.

CCC 1864 “Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.” There are no limits to the mercy of God, but anyone who deliberately refuses to accept his mercy by repenting, rejects the forgiveness of his sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit. Such hardness of heart can lead to final impenitence and eternal loss.

I am very interested in this, please do provide the fuller article.

Thank you I will although I’m not sure how to go about it because Catholic answers will ban links

no INDIVIDUAL human being will ever be unforgivable
Catechism of the Catholic Church
1861 Mortal sin is a radical possibility of human freedom, as is love itself. It results in the loss of charity and the privation of sanctifying grace, that is, of the state of grace. If it is not redeemed by repentance and God’s forgiveness, it causes exclusion from Christ’s kingdom and the eternal death of hell, for our freedom has the power to make choices for ever, with no turning back. …

1021 Each man receives his eternal retribution in his immortal soul at the very moment of his death, in a particular judgment that refers his life to Christ: either entrance into the blessedness of heaven-through a purification 594 or immediately, 595 – or immediate and everlasting damnation: 596
At the evening of life, we shall be judged on our love. 597

Hi Spauline, even now we see the gifts of Christ through the Church to human society accredited to other things

Well what I meant was before death of course when one crosses the threshold of death serious sin becomes unforgivable I know that

I think you really need to read it carefully. Seems you have difficulty reading

For the record, it is saying that at the end of the world, humanity will claim that secular power is able to restrain evil in the world and bring peace without religion. They will have learned that that is patently false in the chastisement that is imminent inn our days, and then, saying that worldly power can end wickedness is saying that wickedness can be stopped by the powers of this world, or that is, that the devil can be thwarted by worldly power, or, that is that the powers of this world can cast out the prince of this world. That is an apocalyptic version of Jesus’ discourse with the Pharisees on this
