Blasphemy of spirit, why does the interpretation of the church differ from the gospels on this topic. Help is ther anyway a person can be forgiven if they have committed it. When Christ’s says “no penance or good works will forgive the person of that sin”
 
The unforgivable sin is final impenitence, which is rejecting God’s forgiveness at the end of one’s life. So every sin can be forgiven while we are still alive. But if we die unrepentant, we can’t be forgiven of that, because after death comes judgement.

So you can’t “commit the unforgivable sin” while still alive, and you certainly can’t do it accidentally, as though it’s some kind of boogeyman waiting to grab you and take you to hell by surprise. It’s not really a sin so much as a disposition against receiving the forgiveness of God.

No I know no one can sin accidentally, but if someone says blasphemy of the spirit can they be forgiven. If they didn’t know what they wer saying.

So if you feel the call to repent you haven’t commuted this sin
