So I have been obsessing and starting threads about blasphemy against the holy spirit. I heard it was to refuse God’s forgiveness. How do I accept his forgiveness? I feel like I have refused it because I haven’t turned from my sin, sinned willfully, and asked him for forgiveness and for some reason I feel like he hasn’t forgiven me because I don’t think I truly repented.

I don’t know if I should read the bible more because I don’t know a lot about God

Did i refuse to accept his forgiveness and am I unforgivable? I heard that not to believe your forgiven means you refuse his forgiveness.

We all have until our dying breath to repent and be saved. If we don’t and die in a state of mortal sin that is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Your sins are forgiven when you go to Confession and sincerely confess all mortal sins you remember committing and you then receive absolution.

It’s never a bad idea tor read your bible more. Maybe with a study group at church or with a study guide to help you understand it.

I’m sorry I’m not a priest… but no one is unforgivable… you are seeking God’s forgiveness so you’re not turning your back on Him.

Someone told me once that placing your trust in the God is a key point to accepting His forgiveness… asking God to help you with your unbelief.

I struggle with sin too, everyone does… there’s a passage in Romans that helped, about how we struggle with sin and only through the Holy Spirit we are free from it… that and praying for God to help me with my unbelief.

saying a little prayer in my head seconds before I want to do something I know is sinful helps me as well… and knowing God is there for me as long as I seek Him out, no matter what I do, He will love and forgive me.

Blasphemy, Forgiveness, Repentance, Sin…

IF you truly fully repented, you wouldn’t continue in your sin.

IF you sin… Ask for Forgiveness… No matter how many times you sin.

Sounds to me your Faith is still rather weak…

It’s time - with God’s Assistance - to dig deeper into knowing yourself, ?

Yes and I feel like I didn’t feel bad.
Contrition, like sin, is dependent on the will, not emotional feeling. Feelings cam be very deceptive. All of this is still something you should discuss with your confessor. Asking questions like this one will only exacerbate your scruples.

If you were past all hope you wouldn’t be worried about it and you’d never worry about it again. That’s not to say it’s good or healthy to obsessively worry, but that you are concerned means you’re definitely not lost.

Please speak to a priest about you not feeling forgiven. Please note that “feeling” bad isn’t the measure of repenting. It’s what you resolve to try to do. If you stumble and fail, it doesn’t mean you aren’t trying. We all stumble and fail every day in some way or another.
