All blasphemies can be forgiven, right?

Today, whether out of my illness or out of fear/anger, I called Jesus the anti-Christ. I immediately felt horrible, did not believe the statement even as I thought it, and felt very guilty about it. I said an act of contrition, prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and repented.

Can this be forgiven?

YES

all sins can be forgiven (unless of course we do not repent of them…)

Mortal sins (grave matter with full knowledge and deliberate consent) can be forgiven but need to be confessed prior to Communion

Venial sins can be forgiven in many ways…
 
Your remorse and contrition speak loudly. As long as you do not pursue this idea, continue to be angry at God, you can be forgiven.

According to RCIA instructor, thoughts and distractions that burst through our worship and meditation and prayer are forgiven because we are not consciously seeking to break the commandments.

I would apply that lesson to this situation. It sounded like an outburst, rather than a contrived statement drafted and published to sway an audience.

Just commenting on the above note (already answered the other persons question above)

Uninvited thoughts that we did not occasion…without any consent…* are not even sins needing to be forgiven*.
 
You’re the second person in a week here, who’s believed that there are sins that can’t be forgiven.

May I ask, why do you believe that some sins aren’t forgiven?

Mark 2 28-30… [28] Amen I say to you, that all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and the blasphemies wherewith they shall blaspheme: [29] But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost, shall never have forgiveness, but shall be guilty of an everlasting sin. [30] Because they said: He hath an unclean spirit.

and Matthew 12…v32

read the chapter for better context, but yes, there is sin that will not be forgiven…in this life, or the next…on the bright side, it strengthens the case for purgatory in regards to forgiveness of other sins…ie: (if theres some sin that wont be forgiven in the next life, then theres some sin that will)

Such is not how this is understood by the Church…

The Church teaches that ALL sins can be forgiven in this life when we repent…

Catechism:

1864 “Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.” There are no limits to the mercy of God, but anyone who deliberately refuses to accept his mercy by repenting, rejects the forgiveness of his sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit. Such hardness of heart can lead to final impenitence and eternal loss.
 
The only unforgivable sin - is the sin that a person refuses to confess.

Hey all, thank you for your kind replies and answers. They help.

Also, that verse, the one that states blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, that is the one that led me into confusion. I don’t understand how the Church can say that every blasphemy can be forgiven, when Jesus stated that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit could not be forgiven, ever.
