I don’t know terribly much about her. She was from my City, lived in Footscray(Or was it fitzroy?), was a devout Catholic Nun, was once excommunicated(then later recommunicated), died in her older age and became one of my country’s most famous spiritual leaders. She was Beautified and is likely going to be named Australia’s first Saint.
i have to admit other than this, I don’t know anything about her. I’ve been finally inspired to find out about her and I’d like to know if anyone on this board knows her story better. I’d like to hear in on this board, even though I’ve got books and things now.
I saw a picture of her in her older age that really inspired me, it was shot of her with The crucifix and rosary kind of like in a gun holster by her waist, instead of a gun in her “holster” she had a crucifix! it was really oddly inspiring.
I’d also like to know more about the Saints and other people that have been beautified. My knowledge doesn’t extend very far beyond the well known ones like Blessed Mother Teresa.
