Here is my most favorite nun in the entire world, Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta. She was an amazing nun, through her selfless acts of charity people in India were saved. Iam including a link here for her cause for canonization. I did a feature of her on my blog.

Oh, what a coincedence you posted this today. I went today with my women’s church group to visit today a women’s shelter for unwed mother’s that is run by the sisters of Blessed Mother Teresa’s order. We had Holy Hour with them and visited with them and the new mothers. We brought donated items for babies and mothers and dinner and served them.

They had pictures of Mother Teresa with babies, Bishop, and priests when she came down in 1987 and opened up this shelter and brought her sisters there. The nuns were talking today about the celebration on Aug. 26 with the Bishop coming, and it is to be a special day for all in the poor community there where they are.

It was a very special day today, and I felt blessed to have been there and to be helping them. I could feel Mother Teresa’s presence there.

I have always admired Blessed Mother Teresa, and all that she has done and her sisters in charity continue to do.

I am sorry I don’t have any gift for you but I ask you to ask God to bless me with His gift. 🙂 I am sure you know what gift I do need.
