Hi,

I have two questions. The first is can Nuns bless rosaries? The second question is do you know where there is a place in the Bible where priests bless religious items and better yet if Jesus blesses religious objects?

Thanks!!!

St. Paul’s handkerchiefs, simply because they had been in contact with this holy apostle, were taken and used to heal the sick. (See Acts 19:12).

That is a good one…but I think there has to be a better example. Also, do we know if Nuns are allowed to bless rosaries? or religious items?

Thanks!

Priests and deacons are authorized to bless in the name of the church. Non-ordained people – including nuns – are not authorized to do so.

That being the case, never be hesitant to ask for the good sister’s prayers still! I always ask them to keep me in their prayers!
