Can I ask the Priest to bless my rosary if I am not yet Catholic? If so when is the appropriate time to approach him?

You bet! Call the parish office and make an appointment to see him or go to Mass and ask him if he would Bless your Rosary afterwards. Most will be glad to do so. It only takes a few moments.

As above 🙂 I had a rosary blessed before I was confirmed and I was honestly kind of terrified to ask the priest, but I talked to one of the RCIA folks and she went with me after Mass (because I didn’t feel comfortable just strolling on in to the sacristy). It only took a minute or two.

Do ask him after mass; not before. Before mass priests [or at least most priests] are in prayer preparing themselves to say the mass. While they try to be polite, and accommodate requests, any interruption breaks that prayer time and disrupts their prayer.

Before becoming a Catholic, it’s always the best to memorize the rosary. Do you know all the five mysteries for glorious, joyful, sorrowful, luminous? Anything Christian material is always good to have a priest bless them.

Thanks for info.

I can’t remember all the rosary of by heart yet, but I have a couple of booklets that have scripture, pictures and reflective writing on the mysteries which I use.
