Ok friends, this is a very newbie type question and I’m not totally sure there is one correct answer to it, so here goes.
What is the “correct” or best way to bring an object to a priest to have it blessed.
I recently got in the mail my first Crucifix and Rosary. I also have had for a while a St. Michael paratrooper medal that I wear on my dog tags while WWII reenacting.
Anyways I wanted to bring these this Friday after Stations of the Cross to have them blessed. Since this is my first time even in a Catholic Church I’m new to this as well. Any recommendations on how to do this? I know that I want my friend JT to introduce me to the Priest that’s there, so maybe then?
Should I just hand them to him and be like, “Yo Padre…bless this will ya?” in my best Boston accent?

Seriously though, what’s the best way to go about this? Thanks
