Fr Dowd,
Is an amazing priest and teacher. The selection committee made a good choice because he cares for the people. This is seen in how he conducts his class and makes the material accessible. I’ve learned alot from him. He is one of the best teachers I ever had so although Concordia will be loosing a great teacher at least his talents will be used to spread God’s kingdom.
 
This is such good news for Quebec, and for all of Canada!

Since he’s going to be an auxiliary may I suggest the See of New York, in partibus infidelium?

Actually I wonder when that will happen. I think the US was a mission country up 1900 or so.
