In my grade 11 Law class we were discussing The Charter of Rights and Freedoms and one of the examples where religious freedoms can be limited is if the parents (who are Jehovah’s witnesses) refuse a blood transfusion for their child, the government has the right to go against their religion and give the child the blood transfusion.
My question is, are Catholics against blood transfusions like Jehovah’s witnesses? Is it a sin?
