I shall pray for you. God gave my family the gift of peace and joy today. We had a wonderful Christmas, even though we just lost my husband and my childrens father last week. Christmas is alive and filled with grace no matter the circumstances. You just have to look beyond your own pain. God never abandons us…we usually forget that He is all around us. We are never without His grace.

I appreciate your prayer, and I thank you for that perspective, maggieodae. Actually, I was quite moved by some of the Christmas-related shows I watched today. Hopefully, you and your children will meet your husband someday in Paradise. God bless you and your family.

I kinda wish I could fast. But with consistnat low bloodsugar of hypoglycemia I become allmost totally unfunctional with out reguler meals.I started my fast!Anyone else going to fast?

I think that my blood sugar must be low because I felt like I was going to faint at about the 10th hour and had to take some fruit…nevertheless it was still a valid fast because my intention was there and I had no way of knowing that I was going to react that way.I kinda wish I could fast. Sometimes a fast can be abstaining from something you really like to do and is extrememly hard to give up/ stay away from…like CAF, being silent, etc…

Hi Aimee…I mentioned that because there are those w/ health problems who would love to and can’t…IMO, I don’t see anything wrong w/ abstaining/giving up something instead.

My leg’s are giving me fit’s. Have to go to the Doctor and get some relief. All in all, It’s been an experience. Yesterday, I went to the Dentist. Took 2 alleve for the pain before I left his office. I broke out in hives from an allergic reaction. My hands swelled up and my feet were on fire. Sheese! Life is always exciting no matter the season.
