I had a blue ray player complete with speakers that cost for me a lot of money. Well it stopped working at all.

So last weekend I bought another that was even more costly. When I got it home I found out you have to connect it to your computer via Wi-Fi. I live out in the country and I can’t get Wi-Fi. So apparently you can’t view Blueray disks unless you live in a city and can spring for Wi-Fi and a router.

I tried to return it and the sales people at Sam’s were extremely rude. They basically implied that I was telling lies, and refused to give me a refund when they finally took it back. They would only give me store credit which did no help since they don’t even stock DVD players. This took 2 1/2 hours!

The store credit could be used at Wallyworld so I took it to that awful place and got a DVD player there. Since the blueray cost so much I still have nearly $400 left on the gift card, after buying two pairs of pants, 4 shirts and a nice American flag.

I will never go back to Sams or Wallmart after the gift card is used!

Customer service has been replaced with greed!

Well, they say the PS3 makes a good Blu-Ray player, if you’re up for that.

Wow, what kind of blue ray player did you try to get?? Target has some for under $60.

Do you even know what Wi-Fi is? All you need is a Wi-Fi capable modem and high speed internet, if you live in the country probably through DSL. I have a $100 wi-fi capable modem from Best Buy and have something like 10 devices connected it (phones, tablets, lap tops, XBox, Roku, etc.).

Blu Ray players will do to DVD Players what DVD Players did to the VCR. You got taken to the cleaners if you paid $400 for a Blu Ray player.

Unless you got a Bose sound system to go with it, there’s no way in heck that a Blu Ray player at Sams Club costs $400.

Since i’ve past the 20 minute time to edit my post, let me add to the OP that unless you want Net Flex or Hulu streamed through your Blu Ray, it doesn’t need to be connected to Wi-Fi. To get the full effect of a Blu Ray, it needs to be connected to an HDTV. I have a Blu Ray and no Wi-Fi is needed for me, it works just fine for Blu Ray movies rented through Blockbuster, RedBox, etc.

Someone at Sams has no clue what they are talking about…go figure .

They have the same owners as Wall-Mart. Nothing else needs to be said.
