I am going to be enrolled in the Blue Scapular of the Immaculate Conception soon.
Does any of you wear that one?
What is your experience with that devotion?
I know that speaking of scapulars, in most of the cases the Brown Scapular is meant, but as I don’t have any relations to the Carmelite Order I have opted for the blue one instead because I feel more connected to Lourdes where Mary revealed herself as Immaculate Conception.

I don’t personally know anyone who wears one, but it sounds like an inspiring sacramental.

Here is a website I found about it:

catholictradition.org/Mary/blue-scapular.htm

OP: I now wear the white scapular of the Dominican order, as a lay Dominican.

I used to wear the red scapular of the Passion, since I am quite drawn to it.

If the blue scapular is right for you, certainly wear it. I find the scapular a nice and present reminder of Christ’s presence in my life.

No, but I myself am preparing to do so. I’ve been reading a lot of material provided by the Marians. I would like to join the Confraternity also.

Good luck and God bless you for your devotion to Her Immaculate Conception!

Edit: for anyone else interested in learning about this holy and good devotion, read more about the Marians (who are the primary propagators of the blue scapular these days) here
marian.org/marians/

and a lot of information about the scapular here:
padrimariani.org/assets/flip/en/Blue_Scapular/#46

Both sites are Marian-run. Of course there are many scapulars, but many have little information online. I personally like the fact that the Blue Scapular has such a concrete foundation, propagation and confraternity. Any devotion to Mary or Jesus is worthwhile, so follow which one calls to you.
