Body AND Blood?

yes when I made my first communion, which was common practice, back in 1956, whatever missal was in effect at that time. we still fasted from midnight, but it changed to 3 hrs shortly afterward. we also lived in an area with many Eastern Rite Catholics, and they built their own church in the early 60s nearby, so did receive there a few times, as pictured above.
