I’m very familiar with all the verses you quoted in the Book of Mormon but as I’ve already explained they are in perfect harmony with LDS theology. We believe the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are ONE GOD as stated in the Book of Mormon and the Bible because, despite being distinct beings, they are one in purpose, hence, ONE GOD. I keep trying to explain this concept to you but I don’t think you’re listening. I don’t expect you to believe as we do but for you to quote LDS scripture as if we’ve never read it and then tell US what it means it a bit silly.
Maybe you are more Christain than you think. The way you tell us, you beilve there is one God and that there are no other gods. So you are close, but you still havent answered the other statement, isn’t it heresy to worship Jesus? But still in the BoM they are. That is my last question about these readings.

I didn’t answer because I didn’t understand it and still don’t. Is it heresy to worship Jesus? Of course not! That’s who we worship just like the saints in the New Testament and Book of Mormon.

I was curious for your answer to this question as well because the LDS friends I have talked to have essentially all said the same thing - they pray to God the father alone and they worship God the father alone. No Jesus, no Holy Spirit.

Yes, we do indeed pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ but at church when we take the sacrament and in the temple we are worshiping Christ.

What about the Holy Spirit? But I have been told by x-mormons that it is heresy to worship either Jesus or the Holy Spirit, or is he lying.

I am more concerned about those who worship JS, and BY, and refuse to look at the sins of their ancestors.

I found it interesting that I was talking with an LDS friend of mine. She made a claim about a Bible verse and I showed evidence after evidence that the verse didn’t mean what she claimed it meant. In the end she basically told me that she believed so completely in Joseph Smith that nothing could change her views. She was so convinced that what JS said was true that she ignored every piece of evidence to the contrary. And it’s not like this verse in and of itself would prove or disprove the truth of the LDS church.

Victor,
I think you’re just confused. You can disagree with our doctrine all you want but it should be pretty clear that we worship Jesus Christ. Our church is named after him and from the very title page of the Book of Mormon it says that the main purpose of the book is “to the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ, the eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations.
