  1. This last week I read and finished NEW SAINTS AND BLESSEDS 1984-1987, published by Ignatius Press. You can order copies from their web site if interested. As with the first volume, this book brings to life many people whom I had never heard of before, plus a few familar names. Inspiring reading. I look forward to Volume 3, when or if it may be published.
  2. Yesterday was the Feast Of The Visitation, so i brought out my copy of the Baronius Press edition of The Little Office of the BVVM. Reading all 8 offices, including all 3 nocturnes, took a good 60 minutes spread throughout the day. I use this book only on Feast Days and Memorials of Our Lady.
  3. Yesterday I also finshed Day 31 of A MONTH WITH MARY, by Don Dolindo Ruotolo, published by The Franciscans of the Immaculate. This is the book I intend to read EVERY month of May. This is the 2nd year I have done so. 31 meditations to improve our relationship with Mary.
  4. For the next two weeks, my book of hours will be PRAYING THROUGHOUT THE DAY, from Liguori Publications. This is a book of hours intended for those suffering from addictions.

I’m currently reading “The Promise: God’s Purpose and Plan for when Life Hurts”… by Father Jonathan Morris.

So far, so good. I recommend it. Easy to understand, clear… concise language. And helpful insights. God bless.
