Actually, no. None of it is real.
In my study of the nature of things (philosophy, theology), to see what is really real, it happens that the soul leaves the body when the body fully resists animation, and the body is no longer a body, but a corpse, where individual elements return to functioning according to elemental and molecular properties (decomposition).
Stories of vampires and even zombies are stories based upon an imagining that the soul is part of the material makeup (part of the brain) of the body. And if there were [subjunctive] something that could “restart” the life process, then also a sort of consciousness or sort of intelligence (monstrous) would also be present.
Demon possession is not quite what is portrayed in stories and films - demons cannot “animate” a persons body as if taking over the control.
Instead, demons and Satan can only “suggest” things to us, can only pose questions or actions as solutions to what we desire. (Jesus was hungry [desire] and Satan proposed that if he were the Son of God, he should surely not have to endure hunger but could readily make bread from stones. Eve was looking for something to eat [desire] and Satan proposed fruit from a good looking tree that God had lied about).
Possession comes about when a person fully lets go of any attempt to counter the suggestions of the demon, of Satan, and gets carried away in simply doing anything and everything suggested. Sometimes willingly, sometimes “unwillingly” as with a person who does not know how to act from his “will” but instead always acts from his appetites. In a way, his “will” loves the satisfaction of his appetites and he has never found something other than his appetites to love more, to love so much that he says “no” to his appetites.
Judas died; his soul was separated from his body and his body decomposed, unable to again respond to his soul, which was now in a place of “fire”, unable to move itself without a body (our only means of moving ourselves as humans is via our animation of our bodies to get up and walk somewhere). The book about Judas is based on a daydream (or nightmare?) that has faulty understanding of the human being, soul and body.
I understand what you are saying, the thing I read about these vampires said they were not actually deceased people, as is also common in movies and shows, but they are HUMAN, and what makes them a vampire is either some kind of very very old curse, which only effects certain people, and certain people they come into contact with.
It went on to describe how they do actually have ‘fangs’ and these operate much in the same manner as when a man gets sexually excited, and his penis grows, has to do with blood flow to a certain part of the body. Their bodies are still like any other human tho, just some slight differences, they still have a beating heart, still must breathe air, they also have normal life spans, etc. So, they are not exactly like how the movies depicts them, but in some ways they are.
Im still trying to find this info, as its been a long time since I read it, but I do remember quite a bit about it, I also know for a fact, this person was being honest…I can try to explain this, but difficult, he proved it to me in a way that I dont think anyone else could.
Learning this did not really surprise me though, as its not that big of a stretch for me to know God/Satan may have had a hand in this, either directly or thru some kind of ancient curse (indirectly). After all in biblical times, I very much believe certain people were able to conjure and perform REAL magic, and Id imagine , if demonic in origin, there were probably some ‘strings’ attached, that those involved had no idea about.
The last thing I will say here is, if God truly wanted to curse someone and the result was what we consider to be a vampire, then I have no doubt he could do this, whether its Judas, Cain, (as Ive heard this theory in regards to him somewhere too), or some unmentioned person, this would be possible if God chose to do so.
