Book of Mormom Plagiarized?

If I’m not mistaken, a court case officially named the reorganized LDS church as being the true Mormon church. There was a document in which Joseph Smith apparently had a revelation that his son was to take over his position in the church.

Anyone else hear this?

What I know is that there is another LDS church that has had leaders through a continuous blood line of Joseph Smith. They claim to be the real LDS church. The LDS church broke into two with one side following Brigham Young and the other side following the Joseph Smith blood line. I don’t know of any court case, but if there was one, the ruling would be a narrow one and would only apply to a piece of property or an official name.
