I’m asking for recommendations for my grandson. After having been in foster care for 3 yrs, & with his Forever Family for 10 mos., his adoption is nearly completed. He’s in (what sounds like to me) a good Catholic school. As far as we know right now, he has not been baptized, but he does know Christmas is Jesus’ birthday, and He is our Savior (bc I asked him directly). He may know much more. He does not live nearby. According to canon law, a child over the age of 7 needs to be instructed and to choose to be baptized and go through some kind of extra instruction.
Can anyone recommend a book on baptism that might fit the bill in this situation?
I just want to help my son & DIL in any way, and like to send him books. He is a good reader; reads above his 1st gr level.
