Book Suggestion On Apostles

I am looking for a book that discusses the Apostles with special emphasis on their writing styles, their specific audience, a brief synopsis of their life etc. Hopefully one book with a chapter or so for each Apostle would be great.

I’m open to all suggestions and certainly appreciate your help in this endeavor.

Pope Benedict has a book on the Apostles taken from his series of Wednesday audiences:

Apostles

It is structured with one chapter per apostle (more for Peter and John).

If you’re looking for something on the writers of the New Testament, that is a bit different as not all apostles wrote New Testament books and not all New Testament books were written by apostles. For that, something like the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible: New Testament would be good. Each book has an introduction which succinctly summarizes issues regarding the author, date, audience, etc.
