A dear Catholic friend recently loaned me her “inspiring 1925 classic.” It also came with a deck of playing cards. She discovered the set to be spiritually life changing and gave her greater faith in God (or a higher power…?) I found them to be a bit confusing. Lots of biblical verses and inspirational stories, yet prosperity-thinking nonsense for the most part. Is anyone here familiar with “The Game of Life and how to play it…?” If so, what are your thoughts…? Please forgive my being rather critical. Thank you…!

I can’t comment on the book, never heard of it. But I would say that if it makes you uneasy, you should pay attention to that feeling.
