And God knew this and thus He came to meet man through Revelation.
You mean like this:
Lev. 11:20-3 All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you. Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind. But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.
So insects only had four legs back then. Must have evolved the other two after the flood.

The Hebrews could not observe that they had six? I am pretty sure if you ask some other cultures that eat insects they know how many they have.

The Hebrews differentiated walking feet from feet of other functions. The honyebee has two hind legs that are specialized pollen baskets.

**I do not think evolutionary theory is a “hoax.” I think it is what it is. It’s a theory. It has not been proven to be right and neither has it been proven to be wrong. It is up to the individual to decide what to think of it. I can see how both evolutionary theory and special creation theory are both legitimate interpretations of the facts. The difficulty is that macro-evolution has never been observed. So, the jury is still out. I think the Scientific community should allow debate in the class rooms. I think they are being very intolerant, persecuting people who have legitimate disagreements, and being very narrow minded about this. Since when does a theory become a hard undeniable fact? I don’t get that.

I wonder if the (former) atheist, now deist, Antony Flew has anything to say about this matter…

In late 2006, Flew joined 11 other academics in urging the British government to teach intelligent design in the state schools.

Hmm… :hmmm:

Who cares? He’s a philosopher. His opinion on evolution is like asking a policeman about your medical issue. I’m a moderate republican, but I voted for Obama this last election. Do you think I should be directing the Democrats with political advice now?

You don’t care now since he flipped. Atheists often cited him when he was a materialist believer.

Cited him on philosophy I can accept, but I don’t think *anyone *should be citing him on something beyond his experience.

There is a great fear of God by the unbeliever. They wish He would go away. Mr. Flew took the evidence where it led him.

Peace,
Ed

Why would you fear something you don’t believe exists? Do you fear dragons, trolls, and UFOs?

Last time I checked, atheism/theism/deism fell in the philosophical world.

You want some former evolutionists who changed their minds, though?
Alright, here you go:

Dr. Donald Batten(Agriculturist),
Dr. David Catchpoole (Plant Physiologist),
Charlie Lieberts (Chemist),
Dr. Gary Parker (Biologist),
Dr. D. Russell Humphreys (Physicist),
Emeritus Professor Tyndale John Rendle-Short

Much more sound argument are least. Want a list that believe in Evolution? It’s loooooong. 😉
Honestly, it’s expected that some biologists would change their minds. There are so many that believe in evolution that statistically it would be odd if some didn’t decide against it.

Are they all in the same category?
Umm… yes. The category of “things you don’t believe exist”. Pick something from that category that applies to you, and explain why you don’t fear it. Then you’ll know why I don’t fear God.

The claim was “Atheists fear God” and I was refuting it.

Would you like a list of all the believers in God in the world? It is longer than yours. 😉

You sure you want to keep using this argument?

Well, considering I was replying to someone that used that argument first and I didn’t actually provide the list, I thought it was obvious that I think it’s not a good argument. In other words, we agree.

Ah, another person showing symptoms of Richard Dawkins Syndrome…

A case of ignorance, with signs of arrogance, followed by severe brain freezes caused by circular reasoning.

As is the cast with most of the prominent atheists, you have an 86% chance of recovery, most likely near the end of your life…

Recommended medication:

(1 dose of) The Dawkins Delusion?, a book by Alister McGrath.

Your post is condescending and did not add anything to the conversation. Did you run out of real things to say? My post was merely clarifying my point, and then you replied with the implication that I have some kind of syndrome that can be cured. Take a deep breath, and re-read things before you hit submit and ask yourself “would I appreciate it if someone replied to me in this manor?”
