Book/video suggestions: Catholic Eschatology?

Hey folks,

I have a friend who is converting, and has a lot of questions about the eschaton. “How do we know that people aren’t just making this stuff up?” is the main question.

Any book ideas? He is very intelligent, is willing to read (or watch videos) but doesn’t have a lot of time.

Any suggestions?

I can recommend What Jesus Really Said About the End of the World By: David B. Currie. I have it and it’s quite good.

Also you might look into a copy of Beginning Apologetics 8: What Catholics Believe about the Second Coming, the Rapture, Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, and Indulgences

This is also very good and makes a fine study.
